Information We Use

These services help power My Memory Verse.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication may receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a unique account identifier.

Community Feed

When you share verses, your display name, profile photo, verse references, timestamps, and community interactions are stored in Firebase Firestore.

Community Reports & Acknowledgments

If you report Community Feed content or a display name, My Memory Verse may store the report details needed for review, such as the post identifier, verse reference, selected reason, reported username, device identifier, reporter account identifier, and timestamp. Report records are not shown publicly in the Community Feed.

When you acknowledge the Community Guidelines and Terms of Service before sharing, your account profile may store the accepted guidelines/terms version and acknowledgment timestamp so you are not asked again until the version changes.

Local Storage

Favorites, settings, premium status, practice progress, and cached data are stored locally on your device.

Analytics

Firebase Analytics helps us understand how the app is used, improve performance, identify crashes, and make future updates better.

Advertising

My Memory Verse uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including rewarded ads. Google may collect certain information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

In-App Purchases

Premium purchases are securely processed through Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment card or billing information.

How We Use Information

Information collected by the app may be used to:

  • Provide app functionality
  • Authenticate your account
  • Enable Community Feed features
  • Review Community Feed reports and acknowledgments
  • Restore Premium purchases
  • Improve app performance and stability
  • Prevent abuse and spam

Your Choices

You remain in control of your information.

  • Sign in with Google only if you choose.
  • Request deletion of your account and community data.
  • Clear locally stored data by clearing the app's storage.
  • Uninstall the app at any time.
